Our Team
The people behind CrossFit Pärnu

Piia Liisa Baum
Coach/Founder
Piia Liisa is CrossFit Level 1 trainer, and it was her idea to create CrossFit Pärnu. She has been doing CrossFit since 2020 and has competed both in Estonia and abroad.
In university she studied midwifery, and she wrote her bachelor's thesis about elite athletes' family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Piia Liisa has also completed the online course "CrossFit Online Course: Training Pregnant and Postpartum Athletes", and has personally gone through her own journey of returning to sport after having a baby.
At CrossFit Pärnu she mainly coaches CrossFit, Gymnastics, and Weightlifting classes, as well as kids' training.
Her biggest wish is that the time you spend in our gym becomes the best part of your day.

Andreas Baum
Coach/Founder
Andreas has been doing CrossFit since 2021, but his sports background goes back to childhood. He is a 37-time Estonian champion in canoeing, finished 4th at the U18 World Championships, and holds the course record at the Võhandu Marathon. He has also finished 25th at the Tartu Marathon.
Years of experience in top-level sport have given him a solid understanding of how to structure training correctly and effectively.
Besides getting up before sunrise to make it to morning classes, Andreas is also responsible for running and developing the CrossFit Pärnu website.

Laura Randrüüt
Coach
Laura is the bright spark of our team, for whom movement has always been a natural part of everyday life. She tried out many different sports, until she finally found CrossFit for herself in 2021.
Laura is a EuropeActive certified personal trainer (EQF level 4), and previously worked as a trainer at MyFitness, where she led Studio X classes.
At CrossFit Pärnu, Laura mainly coaches Hybrid classes and CrossFit Basics 50+ classes.
Since Laura's academic background is in data science, she places great importance on analyzing training, and the most important question in her sessions is always: "Why are we doing this exercise?"
